Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant Salary: £100 per day Location:  Rural Haywards Heath Job Type: Full time, Long Term Supply 8.40am to 3.55pm We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team, working directly with primary aged boys with social and emotional mental health issues (SEMH) within a special school. Assist the teacher with the curriculum delivery and support individual students or groups to achieve set targets. Engage in planning, organisation, and delivery of educational and work-related experiences for students. Evaluate your practice and engage in professional development. Work creatively and flexibly with students with special educational needs to promote their development. Follow instructions and adhere to policy guidelines in all areas of work. Communicate clearly with staff, students, parents, the local community, and outside agencies. Contribute to the assessment, planning, and monitoring of individual learning programmes. Experience in planning and contributing to curriculum delivery. Ability to work under direction and collaboratively with teaching staff. Competence in continuous assessment and monitoring of student progress. Strong communication skills for liaising with parents and the wider community. Commitment to personal professional development. Strategic leadership skills to contribute to service development. GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
