SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist SEN school in Southwark for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to lead a Reception class.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting 13th April or sooner, offering pay in line with M1-M6.
The Role
You will be teaching a small Reception class of pupils with Autism (ASC) and a range of additional learning needs. The school provides a nurturing, structured, and well-resourced environment, with a strong emphasis on communication, early development, and personalised learning.
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and a multidisciplinary team Use strategies such as visual supports, structured routines, and sensory approaches Build strong relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with children with Autism and/or complex learning needs Early Years or Reception experience is highly desirable Patient, resilient, and creative in approach Strong understanding of SEND best practice
