Contract: Full time, long term - temp to perm options available.

Role: Secondary Teacher for children aged 11 - 19

Salary: MPS 1-6 (Inner London) + SEN point

About the school:

Sanza are looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and engaging Secondary SEN Teacher to join an outstanding special needs school in Southwark. This thriving special school is based in Southwark and caters to children aged 11 - 19 with autism. About the role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the KS3/KS4 curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD. Working within small class sizes of 6 - 8 children and 4 TA's. You will create a structured, safe and stimulating environment that supports communication, social development, and emotional regulation. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and parents to ensure each child receives a personalised learning experience that promotes progress and independence.

You will have:

Ideally taught in a Mainstream Secondary School and/or SEN School with QTS. Newly qualified teachers and teachers looking to move over from mainstream are also encouraged to apply. You should have a real desire and motivation to make a difference to the lives of students. You will ideally have basic PECS, Makaton, TEACCH and Team Teach skills although full training will be provided
