SEN Teaching Assistant Full-time | Term-time only | ASAP Start We are looking for a patient, committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs in a warm, inclusive school setting. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners who require additional support. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, global delay, SEMH and learning difficulties. Assist the class teacher in adapting resources and learning activities to meet individual needs. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help boost confidence, independence and emotional regulation. Implement behaviour support plans and cater for sensory, communication or mobility needs. Help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality support. Contribute to progress reports and pupil observations as required. About You Experience working with children with SEN (school, care, youth work or similar). A calm, empathetic and resilient approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Passionate about supporting children’s emotional, social and academic development. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing. A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one. What’s On Offer Supportive leadership and a friendly SEN-focused team.
