We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary specialist school in Greater Manchester, where pupils with additional needs are supported to thrive in a calm, structured and nurturing environment. The school supports pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs (SLCN), moderate learning difficulties and SEMH needs. Many pupils benefit from consistent routines, positive relationships and patient adult support to help them manage emotions, develop independence and access learning successfully. You'll work closely with an experienced team including class teachers, the SENCO, pastoral staff and skilled support assistants, with access to excellent facilities such as intervention spaces, sensory/regulation areas and well-resourced classrooms. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND Help pupils access learning and stay engaged throughout the school day Assist with EHCP targets and personalised support plans Experience with children/young people (schools, care, youth work, coaching or similar) A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you're looking for a role that is meaningful, hands-on and makes a real difference every day, apply now with your CV and start your journey in SEND education.
