SEN Outreach Tutor (English & Maths)

Location: Barking and Dagenham | Pay: From £25 per hour | Start: ASAP

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Specialist Tutor to deliver 1:1 English and Maths support to children and young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education.

You will provide bespoke, individualised learning programmes for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and anxiety-based school avoidance. Many learners may have been out of education for some time and require support with confidence, engagement, and routine.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or SEN tutor who enjoys working outside the classroom and making a direct, positive impact.

Essential:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN Ability to teach English and Maths Strong communication and adaptabilityDesirable:
