SEN Support Tutor

Long term/ Ongoing work. 3 hours Monday to Friday 12-3, £20ph.
Odin Childcare & Education Recruitment are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Support Tutor to assist with community-based enrichment sessions in Stockport.
This role involves supporting a lead tutor and a young person during engaging, educational enrichment activities delivered within the community. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a meaningful impact – qualifications are not essential.
The Role
* Support a lead tutor during enrichment sessions
* Assist a pupil with engagement and participation
* Help create a positive and encouraging learning environment
* Promote confidence, motivation and social development
Sessions may take place in community settings and will focus on building skills, confidence and positive experiences outside of a traditional classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children or young people (formal or informal)
* Has a positive, patient and supportive attitude
* Is reliable and professional
* Can build rapport easily
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service
You do not need to be a qualified teacher or tutor – strong experience and the right attitude are what matter most.
