SEN Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs, KS3 & KS4) - Harrow - Full-Time - Temp to Perm

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic team in Harrow. This role involves working with students in Key Stages 3 and 4 who have complex needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

SEN Teacher Assistant Responsibilities

Support students with complex learning needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments Work closely with the class teacher to deliver personalised learning plans Provide 1:1 and small group support Assist with personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times Use positive behaviour management strategies to support emotional regulation Monitor and record student progress and wellbeing Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 students First Aid certification (valid and up to date) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and resilience Ability to work effectively as part of a team
