SEN Teacher (EYFS & KS1)
Location: Gateshead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £120–£160 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in Gateshead. This role involves working with children within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) who have a range of special educational needs.
You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons, supporting pupils’ individual needs, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN
Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
Support pupils’ communication, emotional development, and social skills
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
Monitor, assess, and record pupil progressRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with children with special educational needs
A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A passion for supporting young learnersWhat We Offer:
