SEN Teacher – Full Time

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, long-term

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Bolton. This setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism and learning difficulties.

The school is looking for a teacher who is confident adapting their approach to meet individual needs and who is committed to supporting pupils who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education.

The Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, structured and accessible for all pupils.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons Managing behaviour and maintaining a structured classroom Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies

The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS or equivalent Experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Flexible and proactive approach Available full time
