SEN Teacher - Full Time - Start ASAP

A committed SEN Teacher is required to join a supportive specialist setting in the B34 area, starting immediately on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for a teacher with QTS and strong SEN experience, ready to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, structured environment.
Role overview
You will lead teaching and learning for pupils with diverse SEN needs, creating a safe, engaging, and highly personalised classroom. The role involves adapting lessons, supporting emotional regulation, and working closely with support staff and the SENCO to ensure every child receives the right level of care and challenge.
Key responsibilities
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other complex needs.
Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and external professionals.
Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reviews and reports.
Using positive behaviour strategies to support emotional and social development.
Essential requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven SEN teaching experience in specialist or mainstream settings.
Strong understanding of inclusive practice and personalised learning.
Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
