About the Role: We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teacher to work at our specialist school located in the heart of the rugby community. Our school is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children with autism and other developmental needs can thrive.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work with small classes of primary-aged children, delivering engaging, tailored learning experiences to meet their individual needs. Your role will include planning and delivering lessons, supporting social and emotional development, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver bespoke lesson plans to suit the needs of each student Provide a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students' progress Foster an inclusive, compassionate, and engaging learning atmosphere Regularly monitor and track student progress, adjusting support as needed
What We're Looking For:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus on SEN education Experience working with primary-aged students with autism, learning difficulties, or other SEN needs Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a genuine passion for SEN education Strong teamwork and a collaborative mindset
