This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches for pupils with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver personalised, sensory-rich lessons tailored to pupils' needs Develop IEPs and contribute to EHCPs Assess and monitor pupil progress using appropriate assessment tools Support communication development using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC where appropriateRequirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience working in a specialist or SEN setting Understanding of complex learning needs and differentiated teaching strategies Knowledge of communication approaches such as Makaton, PECS, or visual communication systemsWhat the School Offers:
