Are you committed to supporting young people with special educational needs to achieve their full potential? A welcoming and progressive SEN school in Harrow is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time basis.
This role offers the chance to teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering personalised learning experiences that encourage both academic success and personal growth.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support student's academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
Collaborate with teaching assistants and the wider SEN department
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where needed
Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
About You
We are looking for a SEN Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
Has experience working with students with special educational needs
Understands the secondary curriculum and effective differentiation strategies
Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
Communicates effectively and thrives as part of a team
