A day in the life
Deliver differentiated, high-quality lessons that meet the varied needs of your students
Support pupils with EHCPs and additional needs in specialist or mainstream settings
Use a range of strategies and resources to promote engagement, communication, and progress
Work closely with support staff (TAs and therapists) to deliver consistent, holistic care
Prioritise wellbeing, behaviour support, and clear routines
Maintain records and work closely with SENCOs and wider teams to provide continuity
What youll bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) including Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
Experience teaching pupils with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, etc.)
A calm, patient and creative teaching approach that adapts to every individual
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching techniques
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
