SEN Teacher - Primary Class (KS1-KS2, SEND) Location: Kingsbury, North London Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September 2025 A specialist school in Kingsbury, North London is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to lead a small, highly personalised primary class of pupils aged 6-10 with complex learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate SEN teacher to make a meaningful impact in a well-resourced and collaborative setting. SEN Teacher Job Role: Teach and manage a small class of non-verbal pupils , aged 6 to 10, using a range of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods, including objects of reference, visual supports, gestures, MAKATON , and iPad-based communication tools .
Plan and deliver an individualised, engaging curriculum with a strong focus on communication, sensory regulation, and personal development.
Lead a multidisciplinary team including LSAs and therapists, ensuring the holistic needs of each pupil are met.
Support pupils with a range of learning and developmental profiles , including ASD and Down Syndrome.
