We are working in partnership with a specialist setting that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a committed and supportive team.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
Support pupils with a range of communication, learning, and behavioural needs
Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals
Create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Passionate about working with pupils with SEND
Patient, creative, and flexible in their teaching approach
Confident in managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
Experienced in a special school or inclusive setting (desirable but not essential)
