We are working in partnership with a specialist setting that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a committed and supportive team.
The RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with a range of communication, learning, and behavioural needs
- Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals
- Create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
We're looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Passionate about working with pupils with SEND
- Patient, creative, and flexible in their teaching approach
- Confident in managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
- Experienced in a special school or inclusive setting (desirable but not essential)
