We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive mainstream primary school in B36, specialising in teaching pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children’s learning and development.

The Role

Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN

Support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential

Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress

Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary school setting

Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and the National Curriculum

Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills

Patient, flexible, and passionate about supporting all learners

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
