EmpowerED are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Reading to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-resourced, supportive provision supporting pupils with autism, complex needs and communication difficulties, many of whom are non-verbal and require a highly structured, nurturing approach.

About the Role:

* Teaching a small class of pupils with EHCPs and complex needs

* Delivering highly personalised, sensory-based learning

* Supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties and behaviours linked to low engagement

* Working closely with a strong team of LSAs and therapists

* Creating a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds QTS or QTLS

* Has experience within SEN or specialist settings

* Confident supporting pupils with ASD and complex needs

* Brings a calm, patient and proactive approach

* Able to lead a classroom team and model best practice
