SEN Teacher - Specialist SEN School - Harrow - Temp to Perm - KS5

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work full time at a welcoming and well-resourced provision supports students across KS3, KS4 and Post-16 with complex needs and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The school has a strong emphasis on preparing young people for life beyond education, focusing on independence, communication, functional skills and successful transition into adulthood.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets

Teach students with complex needs and SLD across KS3, KS4 and/or Post-16

Embed functional academics, life skills and preparation for adulthood into daily teaching

Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders

Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs

The Ideal SEN Teacher:

Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

Experience working with students with SLD and complex needs (desirable)
