A welcoming primary school in South Yorkshire is urgently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role is perfect for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a caring individual with a passion for supporting vulnerable children.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience is Key: Proven experience supporting individuals with SEN, specifically those exhibiting challenging behaviour, is essential.

Knowledge of SEN: A solid understanding of de-escalation techniques and strategies for supporting children with ASD, SEMH, or complex needs.
*
The Right Personality: A resilient, patient, and adaptable approach is a must. You should be able to remain calm under pressure and be a positive role model.

Relevant Qualifications: While a formal qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is beneficial, your experience and attitude are just as important.

DBS Check: An up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one immediately) is required.
