SEN Teaching Assistant Working Days: Monday to Friday (term-time only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term, temp to perm Long Term Futures are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated and welcoming primary school in Oldbury, Birmingham. This role will be working between 1:1 and group support with SEN pupils with ASD and ADHD, needing extra support. The school is seeking a calm and consistent individual who can build a strong, trusting relationship assisting the pupils to feel supported and comfortable throughout the school day. Providing 1:1 and group support for Year 2 pupils Building a trusting and safe relationship with pupils Encouraging the pupil to build confidence in a comfortable and reassuring environment. Strong experience working with children with ASD and ADHD Understanding Key Stage 1 curriculum and adapting tasks and learning to support pupils needs Calm, patient and consistent approach to learning support Strong relationship-building skills and a positive attitude Why Work with Long Term Futures?
