About the Role

Destination Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them access learning in a structured and nurturing environment. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support staff to provide tailored support that meets individual pupil needs. The role may involve 1:1 or small group support, assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The school promotes a strong inclusive ethos and values teamwork and collaboration to ensure every child is supported effectively. Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN. Support the implementation of EHCPs and personalised learning plans. Assist pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development. Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion within the classroom.
