The Staff Team

You will be working alongside a highly experienced and supportive team of teachers, SEN specialists and teaching assistants who are passionate about inclusive education. Staff work closely with the SENCO and external professionals to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need.

The Role

As an SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assist teachers in delivering adapted and engaging lessons
Use visual aids, sensory resources and structured routines to support learning
Help pupils develop social skills, communication and independence
Build positive relationships with pupils to support emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to meet individual learning plans

Transferable Experience

The school welcomes candidates with experience in:

Teaching assistant or learning support roles
SEN support (autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
