SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 1, 1:1 Support

£100 per day, Full time (8.30am to 4.30pm)

Location: North London / Enfield

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 1 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and speech language needs in a primary school located in Camden.

This is a full-time position and would suit an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Year 1 pupil with ASD and speech language needs in their learning and development
Providing 1:1 support to the pupil as required
Working with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities
Supporting the pupil's emotional wellbeing and mental health
Liaising with parents and carers to provide updates on progressTo be considered for this role, you must have:

Experience working with children with ASD and speech language needs
A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work well in a team and independently
