What You'll Be Doing: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will be all about providing tailored support to primary school children with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed. Key responsibilities include:

Providing one-on-one and small group support for children with various learning, physical, or emotional needs

Assisting with lesson delivery and helping students access the curriculum in a way that suits their needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop their social and emotional skills

Offering personal care and mobility support as needed

Monitoring student progress and feeding back to teachers and parents on achievements and challenges
