GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Folkestone. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs thrive.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):

Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of SEN needs to help them engage fully in learning.
Work alongside class teachers to deliver personalised learning programmes.
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
Offer behaviour support and encourage emotional and social development.
Assist in implementing EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

Experience working with children or adults with SEN is essential.
Backgrounds in care, nursery roles, activity leadership, or healthcare will be considered.
A calm, resilient, and supportive approach to learning and behaviour.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
