About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) TA who has a patient and calm personality to join a secondary school in Wavertree starting September 2025. The ideal candidate will have dedication for going above and beyond for a child who presents SEN difficulties and challenging behaviour. This role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life by providing dedicated support and encouragement.

Location: Wavertree, L15
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Long-term
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a child with SEN difficulties and challenging behaviour, ensuring their safety and engagement in learning activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Support classroom teachers with daily activities and help maintain a stimulating classroom atmosphere. Encourage student independence and self-confidence.Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEND pupils. Experience working within a school or similar setting. Team Teach Qualification (desirable). Right to Work in the UK.
