We are working closely with a specialist school in Eccles, which is seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants. This is a rewarding full-time opportunity to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs, physical disabilities, and autism. The School is a specialist school for pupils aged 9-19 with moderate and/or complex learning difficulties, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The school prides itself on a nurturing and caring environment where high expectations are at the heart of everything they do. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this is a place where staff are committed to inspiring all learners to "dream, persevere and achieve." Essential Requirements: Experience: A minimum of 3 months of recent UK-based experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school is paramount. Candidates without this will not be considered.
Training: You must have a Team Teach qualification or be willing to attend the course.
Compliance: You must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one....
