Location: Cullompton, Devon Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent) Pay: £14.96 per hour PAYE / £16.30 per hour Umbrella Start: ASAP

Prospero Teaching is looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in the Cullompton area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing, inclusive and forward‑thinking school.

The Role

Providing 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, cognition & learning and other SEN needs Supporting pupils with accessing the curriculum and engaging positively in lessons Assisting the class teacher with targeted interventions and differentiated activities Helping maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school, care, residential, or similar settings) Patient, calm, resilient and empathetic Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships Proactive and adaptable Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
