This one’s for you. We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Bradford looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism. This isn’t about sitting quietly in the corner, you’ll be the steady support that helps their whole day click into place. What your day might look like: Supporting one pupil with routines, transitions, and learning Using visual aids and structured approaches Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Celebrating the small wins (they matter the most) What the school’s like: Friendly staff, supportive leadership, and a real team feel. You won’t be left to figure things out on your own. You’ll need: Experience with SEN, especially autism (school or care setting) A patient, positive approach Confidence to build strong relationships Why Protocol Education?
