A welcoming mainstream primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS2 with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a resilient and proactive individual who can build strong relationships, provide consistent support, and make a genuine impact on pupils' progress and well-being.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support across KS2

Support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour

Implement behaviour support strategies consistently and calmly

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

Help pupils access learning and regulate emotions effectively

Monitor and report on progress and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

Has proven experience supporting children with SEMH within a mainstream primary setting

Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, structured manner

Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

Patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent

Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

Committed to inclusion and pupil progress
