The role: Support non-verbal students with their learning and communication needs
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and use alternative communication strategies
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
Promote independence and social interaction among students
