Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf. You’ll be helping pupils with a variety of additional learning needs, making a real difference in their education and development.

About the Role:

Work across multiple classes and schools as required, adapting to different needs and age groups.
Support children with a range of SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and other additional learning needs.
Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to deliver individualised learning experiences.
Help create inclusive, engaging lessons and activities that promote progress, confidence, and independence.

Have a genuine enthusiasm for supporting pupils with SEN.
Can build trusting, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Value a nurturing, person-centred approach.
Are patient, resilient, and adaptable to different pupils’ needs.
Work well as part of a collaborative, caring team.
Experience in SEN settings is an advantage, but a compassionate attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Requirements:

Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support to help you obtain:

Education Workforce (EWC) Registration
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
References covering at least two years of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
