SEN Teaching Assistant Whitchurch
Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in Whitchurch and the surrounding areas .
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within inclusive and welcoming school environments, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
Support children with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties
Assist the class teacher with tailored lesson delivery and differentiated activities
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
Be patient, resilient, and adaptable to individual pupil needs
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)
Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
