About the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our partner specialist provisions in Bridgend. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to work with pupils who present complex additional learning needs (ALN) in a structured, nurturing environment.

This role is suitable for candidates with proven experience in specialist settings who are confident supporting children and young people with a range of learning, emotional, behavioural, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex SEN/ALN Support learners with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, sensory processing needs, and learning disabilities Implement strategies outlined in Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and behaviour plans Support emotional regulation, routines, and transitions throughout the school day Assist teachers and professionals with differentiated learning activities Use specialist strategies to manage behaviour positively and safely Promote independence, engagement, and social development Maintain accurate records and follow s...
