SEN Teaching Assistant Malpas

Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within welcoming schools in Malpas and the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals within a supportive school environment.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Support children with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote emotional wellbeing
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
• Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
