SEN Teaching Assistant Wem Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive primary/secondary school setting in Wem and the surrounding areas . This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Support pupils with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, or SEMH Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable Have strong communication and teamwork skills Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Have relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent desirable but not essential) What Excell Supply Offers: Competitive daily pay rates Flexible work to suit your availability Dedicated consultant support Access to fr...
