A specialist SEN provision is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, supporting students with complex learning needs in a therapeutic education environment.

Special Educational Needs Supported within the setting include:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
Moderate learning difficulties
Speech and communication challenges

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom and small-group support
Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Support social development and independence
Work collaboratively with teaching and therapy staff

Ideal Candidate(s):

Previous experience supporting SEN students is beneficial
Experience working with children or young people is preferred
Patient, empathetic and supportive approach
Passion in supporting within specialist education is required
