Job Description

We are seeking a confident and resilient Learning Support Assistant to support a child with challenging behaviour in a Year 5 class at a welcoming Primary School in Ealing.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and has experience supporting pupils who require additional behavioural support.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil
• Supporting the child to regulate behaviour and engage positively in learning
• Implementing behaviour strategies and following individual support plans
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with challenging behaviour (essential)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
• Team player with good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
