SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Key Stage 1 with Autism.
The pupil is non-verbal and requires a calm, nurturing, and consistent adult to provide tailored support throughout the school day. You will assist with communication strategies, support emotional regulation, and help the child access learning in a way that suits their individual needs. Experience using visual aids, PECS, or other alternative communication methods would be highly beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
