The setting supports pupils with complex learning needs, including severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism spectrum condition (ASC), and speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). The curriculum is carefully adapted so that every pupil can access learning, develop independence, and build confidence at their own pace.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and personally. Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team, you’ll help deliver a holistic curriculum designed to develop communication, social interaction, independence, and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs in the classroom
Helping deliver engaging and accessible learning activities
Supporting pupils to develop communication, independence, and social skills
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Building positive relationships with pupils and their families
Helping create a safe, stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
