Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

Simply Education is currently seeking a resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a real impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH and additional learning needs Assist in managing challenging behaviour with a positive, therapeutic approach Work alongside the class teacher to create a safe and inclusive learning environment Help students develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence Support the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans What We are Looking For:

Some experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH needs High levels of resilience, patience, and empathy Strong communication and relationship-building skills Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, term time) A genuine passion for helping children succeed despite challenges Requirements:
