SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (1-1 support) (Autism specialist) Location: B31 Pay: £85.00 - £110.00 Per day Contract – Full time opportunity Monday– Friday until end of academic year.

The Role
Guide and provide support for the children during lesson time with the class teacher. Motivate and encourage learners – Exciting learning styles and techniques. Encourage independence within the classroom. Support learning in line with EHCP plans and student progress plans Work in line with the amazing safeguarding team (SENCO, DSL and class teacher) Prioritise student wellbeing and safety – Following lesson plans and adaptability. Experience working with Autism (minimum 3 months) Level 3 TA qualification or relevant teaching experience Professional and caring nature, create a safe and exciting environment Committed to full time – Being reliable (these children are counting on you!) Must hold a relevant qualification or extensive experience of working within a similar role. Able to provide a minimum of 2 references cover the past two years. Atleast one reference should comment on your interaction with children. Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education.
