SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Greenwich

ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a supportive primary school in Greenwich to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term position. This role requires proven experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and is ideal for someone confident in delivering targeted, consistent support.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs

*

Supporting pupils with EHCPs, including academic, social and emotional needs

*

Implementing tailored strategies set by the class teacher and SENCo

*

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

*

Working closely with teachers, SENCo and external professionals

Essential Requirements:

*

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is mandatory

*

Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs)

*

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

*

Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs

*

A patient, resilient and proactive approach
