Teaching Assistants – Cheshunt | Immediate & April Starts

Magisters is currently recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Cheshunt and the surrounding areas.
The Role

Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
*
Position: Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA / SEN TA)
*
Type: Full-time or part-time – flexible opportunities available
*
Start Date: Immediate and September starts available
*
Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rates, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
*
Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver engaging lessons
*
Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
*
Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs (experience welcomed)
*
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
*
Supporting with classroom preparation and learning resources
*
Supervising pupils during break times and school activities
About You
*
Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
*
Passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development
*
Patient, reliable, and proactive approach
*
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if needed)
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
