A welcoming and supportive special needs school in Chiswick is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a fast-track to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in the classroom
Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups
Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
Promoting independence, communication and social development
Helping to maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
