We are recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Croydon, working with pupils who have a range of special educational needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN

* Support pupils with needs such as ASD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH

* Assist with classroom activities, adapting learning to individual needs

* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence

* Support communication using visual aids, PECS, Makaton, or AAC where appropriate

* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet EHCP targets

* Support with personal care where required

What We’re Looking For

* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)

* Calm, patient, and resilient approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Willingness to support personal care and behaviour needs if required

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
