Teach Now is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Finchley, Barnet, to recruit a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time, temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with special educational needs across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and adaptations
• Helping pupils access the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs
• Promoting independence, confidence, and positive relationships
This role is ideal for someone with previous SEN or classroom experience, or for graduates and aspiring teachers looking to build hands-on experience in a primary school setting.
